It was one of those stupid sort of nights. Everybody wanted to go out, fine. Whatever. I spent the bulk of the six unnecessary hours standing in the corner hoping that none of my friends noticed I wasn't really interested in how this whole thing is supposed to go. Drinks that make you stupid, girls chesting towards attention they don't really want. I guess I don't resent any of it, hard as that is to believe. Still, in those six hours not once did I see a menu or something with prices listed on it. I saw a jar for wet t-shirt contests, but there was no price on that either. It's impressive how little I update this.

Hey! Guys... srrsly, it's hard to remember to ever post a thing over here. Certainly I log into dA every day to check stuff but I forget to upload the myriad things I'm working on. I just slapped up the covers for Husks, so hopefully you guys will check out the comic over at http://husks.us annnnd that's about it. I guess I will go back to waiting three years between journals. My proper blog craps are up at my main site linked above. I also post the comic there.

Those were heady days, friend. Before the war took us from our homes and put us in a world we could never understand.

I feigned patriotism when I volunteered and said it was my duty but there was a terrible, violent truth beneath that gentle lie. He didn't deserve what he got, but it was dark and I thought he meant to show me my end.

It's okay. He was just a dirty hobo.
