So, my ol' buddy
stalk tagged me in this thing and I guess you are supposed to write ten things about yourself in the journal that you do after you get tagged, SO WHAT THE HELL, I am bored and my birthday is coming up so I will yammer on about myself like the fat, sad attention whore I am. Also, after reading Campos's 10 things, it's clear to me that he is my brother from another mother and we should high five.
*RULES*:
-You must post these rules.
-Each tagged person must post 10 things about themselves on their journal.
-You have to choose and tag 10 people and post their icons on the same journal.
-Go to their pages and tell them you tagged them!
-No tagbacks.
1. My taste in music is waaaay more broad than Campos. AND I CAN PROVE IT! Peep this Last.fm, yo:
www.last.fm/user/digiwombat2. I play a number of instruments. Drums, bass, guitar (eh...), and any sort of percussion really. Xylophone, all that good stuff. I also played the trumpet for a short while but not enough that I could still manage.
3. I occasionally play 2D fighters competitively. Mostly Guilty Gear and BlazBlue, but I did learn a few characters in Super Street Fighter IV just so I could talk crap about the game. Haha. It's not that bad, it's just fun to upset the cool kids.
4. I used to act. Not professionally or anything, but I was the male lead in two school plays, both of which I was unable to participate in. I'd like to do voice work at some point.
5. I donate regularly to the ACLU and CBLDF because I am a civil liberties crazy person even though I tend to hate politics and wish I could ignore them.
6. My entire comics collection has been lost or sold at least twice before. I had some damn good issues.
7. Before I quit my previous career to become a proper writer (it will happen!), I was a programmer and designer. Well, for a while I was, by the end of that career I was running engineering departments and so on. I do not miss it at all.
8. I am mildly bothered by dials with numbers on them or attached to their function that are not set to even numbers. This only seems to be true of absolute values, not like... sliders with rough number positions. So in my car the temperature is always an even number. It doesn't bother me too much if they aren't, but I still prefer it. I don't attach this to other people's stuff, just things that are mine to control. Also, it's less bothersome if the odd number is mathematically elegant like 75 or something.
9. Two people have broken their hands punching me in the face and both of them were friends of mine who I happened to get into fights with in high school. They are also the only two people I can remember punching me squarely in the face. So, two for two.
10. Taboos fascinate me. Especially ones that seem to have no basis outside of religious dogma. I mean, most taboos are pointless... eh, I could spend forever droning on about that.
OKAY! That's good enough. I have to tag people like the rules say. I don't think I have ten people to tag, so maybe I will just call it a day with five? Sounds good to me.
Here they go:
